This moment...
A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see.

Yard Art!
Sorry to disappoint, but I did NOT buy a garden gnome.
Instead, after taking notice of ALL the dandelions in our yard that seem to have sent out convincing invitations to all their dandelion friends that our yard is a great place to take up residence, I decided to take action! And, NO, I did not break out the machete like you might be thinking if you know me personally! And I am not THAT intense if you don't know me personally, no matter what they say! Instead, I channeled my frustration in a more calm, zen-like manner. I know, not my usual MO, but never a better time than the present for growth, right? So, I ended up making this, a la Andy Goldsworthy:
I just think that is so cool! But it needs a better canvas. Anyone know of a good yard fertilizer?...
UPDATE: This was my second attempt at dandelion yard art...smaller, but set in a prettier background amongst the prolific purple blooming weeds:
PS--HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEET PEA!!! :D
UPDATE: I made another one! This type of art is very addictive! I think this one looks the best.
